Carolina Modena

Director of the Slow Food Biodiversity Office

After a Degree in Law at the University of Turin with a dissertation on the right to food, she choose to improve her knowledge on the food around the world attending a Master on Food Culture and Communication at the University of Gastronomic Sciences (Pollenzo, Italy). She joined the Slow Food Headquarters in the early 2017, with a specific focus on supporting producers involved in the Slow Food projects and local network, such as Slow Beans. Currently, she is the director of the Biodiversity Office. She's strongly committed to promote good, clean, and fair food for all as a tool to guarantee our food sovereignty.
